This program is an expansion of teh homeowner security system rebate, introduced in 2024. The provincial government, on October 8, announced that this program would be rolled out in late fall. To date, it has not been formally introduced. It will provide up to $2,500 for businesses to upgrade their security systems, including cameras and required hardware, window and door contacts and alarms. It will not include labour or ongoing monitoring.

We are providing a 2-camera package, including all connections, micro-SD cards for recording activity, battery backup where required. You may add additional cameras to the package. Installation will be free, with the option to have us monitor your operation via the Internet Wifi connection provided by you.

This program, like its predecessor, likely will be on a first-come-first-served arrangement, ending when the allotted funds run out. The home rebate ran out of money very quickly, so it’s important that you act pre-emptively!
